Discourse analysis remains a vital approach into language understanding. The cohesion of text meaning is decided by the adaptability between two basic components of text——word and context, both of which display the adaptability through their interaction in reverse. Context affects the generation of lexical meaning while lexical meaning influences the meaning of text on the whole.
