Ideological and Political Education to College Students in the Harmonious Society

党的十六届四中全会提出构建“社会主义和谐社会”的新命题,并且把和谐社会建设放在同经济建设、政治建设、文化建设并列的突出位置,把构建社会主义和谐社会作为我们党执政能力的主要任务之一,这不但对树立和落实科学发展观、实现经济社会协调发展、实现党的执政目标具有十分重要的意义,而且为加强和改进大学生思想政治教育指明了新的方向。站在和谐社会的高度审视大学生思想政治教育,使我们有了新的思考和认识。

To build' Socialist Harmonious Society is put forward on the Fourth Plenary Session of the Party Central Committee of the 16th Party Congress. As one of the main tasks,building socialist harmonious society has become as important as the economic construction, political construction and cultural construction, which is of great significance in setting up and implementing the scientific development view,realizing the coordinated economic development and reaching the target of the Party. In addition, it shows a new direction to enhance and improve the ideological and political education to college students.
