Political Risk in Cross-National Investment A Summary of Western Researches

随着全球经济一体化趋势的不断深入,跨国公司的不断兴起和蓬勃发展,“政治风险”和“文化冲突”等问题引起了人们的普遍关注。全球各地不断涌现的政治事件给跨国经营和投资带来了极大的风险,对政治风险问题的探讨也早已并将进一步成为企业理论界的一个热点。本文对西方相关的研究进行简要综述,希望引起中国的理论界和企业实践界对这一问题的关注。

As the integration of global economy and the occurrence and development of cross-national enterprises, issues such as “political risk” and “cultural conflict” have been paid much attention. The political events taking place all over the world from time to time bring huge venture to cross-national business and investment.Therefore,study on political risk is always a hot topic in business academic. This paper summarizes the relevant literature contributed by western scholars, and hopes to incentive the interest of Chinese scholars and businessmen in this field.
