Sustainable Development in Guangdong Province Resource Bearing Capacity and Analysis Model of Environmental Capacity

广东省作为中国沿海地区经济发展较快的省区之一,无论从自然条件、经济发展的区域差异,还是从当前发展中所面临的人口、资源及环境问题都存在较大的压力。本研究的目的是为了推进广东省可持续发展战略的实施,准确地量化和评价可持续发展状况,为广东经济发展提供科学决策依据,并在制定国民经济和社会发展计划及实施宏观调控中,充分考虑经济社会发展的环境容量和资源承载能力,使环境容量、自然资源承载能力与经济、社会和人口协调发展。

As one of the fast developing provinces, Guangdong is confronted with great pressures from natural resources, regional differences of economic development as well as population, resources and environment. Therefore, to help to execute sustainable development strategy requires accurately quantifying and evaluating the situations of sustainable development to make sound decision for economic development. At the same time, making the plan for national economic and social development requires considering environment capacity and resource bearing capacity to make sure of sustainable development.
