摘要
活动轮廓模型(也称为蛇模型)是一条能量递减曲线,由轮廓自身特征决定的内部能量和图像特征决定的外部能量共同支配,在能量最小的原则下移动并最终停止于所要寻找的物体边缘附近。十多年来,它得到了不断的改进和发展,并在计算机视觉领域得到了广泛的应用。该文简要介绍了活动轮廓的原理及数学模型,并对其发展及应用进行了一定的综述。
The active contour models(also named snake models)is an energy-minimizing curve controlled by the internal energy of the curve and the external energy of the image.Under the principle of energy minimizing,it can move and eventually stop near the object boundry.It has been improved and widely used in the last decade.This paper briefly introduces the principle and mathematical model of active contours,and then gives the overview of its development and applications.
