On Quality-oriented Education and Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational Education

从高职教育的培养目标、高职教育所面临的挑战和整个社会对高职教育的期望来看,以素质教育为改革方向,是高职教育在未来的日子里得以生存和发展的必然要求。化解高职教育存在的矛盾和障碍,以素质教育为目标开展教育改革,首先要明确培养目标,改变教育观念,强化因材施教,确定素质教育的基础地位;其次要做好高职教学改革工作和课程设置工作;加强高职院校的软、硬件设施建设等,营造有利于学生素质提高的校园文化氛围。

According to the training goals the higher vocational education has set, the challenges it faces and what the whole society expects from it, quality-oriented reform is a must for the higher vocational education to go on well and develop. To reform the higher vocational education, which contains contradictions and obstacles, with the aim to be quality-oriented, training goals should be specified, educational concept should be altered, the principle of teaching according to individuality should be strengthened and the basic status of quality-oriented education should be established . On the other hand, great efforts should be made to reform the higher vocational teaching and course designing. What makes the education reform successful lies in strengthening the software and hardware of higher vocational education colleges and creating a campus environment which is helpful to improve the students' quality.
