摘要
以ZrSiO4/Al2O3/SiO2混合粉体为原料,采用反应烧结工艺,通过添加SiO2与“过量”的Al2O3反应,制备了“富”莫来石的ZrO2/莫来石复相陶瓷材料。添加的无定形SiO2在烧结过程中结晶形成中间产物方石英。方石英的形成和莫来石化反应是阻碍致密化的主要因素。结果表明,该体系的反应烧结坯体的致密化是困难的,抑制SiO2晶化,减小莫来石化体积膨胀带来的不利影响是获得致密烧结体的关键。
'Mullite-rich' mullite-zirconia ceramic composites have been prepared from reaction sintering of ZrSiO_4/Al_2O_3/SiO_2 mixed powders. The reaction sintering was investigated with respect to the densification and phase development. It has been shown that the added amorphous SiO_2 crystallized to cristobalite during reaction sintering. The crystallization, together with mullization, is considered as main reasons for preventing densification. Advanced techniques must be developed to obtain dense compacts.
