Application of A New Digital Breeding Method to Improving Tomato Variety Jinfanqie 1

数码育种是作者根据十几年的育种经验总结出的一套育种新方法。实践证明,应用该方法使育种目标更明确,育种路线更正确,选配组合更精确,育种路径更快捷,克服了选配组合的随机性和盲目性,能够在最短的时间内,以最少的投入,达到预期的育种目标。

<Abstrcat> In this paper,the author described a new breeding method 'Digital Breeding' , which was summarized by the author according to his own over 10 years' breeding experience and the new method was applied to improving tomato variety Jinfanqie 1. The experimental result showed this new method could make the breeding objective clearer, breeding strategy more scientific, combinations more accurate and breeding speed faster.It curbed the randomness and blindness of selection and combinations in breeding action and could realize the expected breeding objective in the shortest time and the lowest investment .
