A Comparative Study of the Speech Styles of Modern Mongolian and Chinese Prose

蒙汉现代散文都是从传统走向现代的转型中形成,由于文学传统、社会、文化、历史语境的不同而显示了各自不同的话语方式。蒙现代散文的话语方式集中体现在“对话”与“民间”;汉现代散文话语方式主要体现在“闲话”与“独语”。它们各自在价值取向、自我流露、文化人格上表现出了截然不同的含义。

This paper deals with a comparative study of speech styles of Mongolian and Chinese modern prose, which has been developed in the translation from the traditional types to the modern types. The prose reveals varied speech styles because the different literature traditions, societies, cultures and history environments give birth to it. Basically, the speech styles of modern Mongolian prose are reflected in “dialogues” and “among” the folks, while those of modern Chinese prose are reflected in “casual talks” and “monologues”. These speech styles show completely different meanings at vaue-choosing, self-revealing and cultural personality expressing.
