Located in the middle part of YunnanProvince,Chengjiang County Seat is an ancient townwith a long history,profound cultural traits and richnatural resources.The detailed planning of the an-cient town of Chengjiang County Seat is based onits spatial features,culture features and architec-ture features,designating the function of the an-cient town as a center of traditional business culture,tourist service base and residential area.The scopeof land use area is divided into ten categories.Mea-sures have been taken to preserve the key tradi-tional buildings,inherit and carry forward their origi-nal functions and uses,and give them new usesand new pattern of maintenance and rebuilding.
