从城市结构和功能的关系看,生态城市规划的核心是实现城市结构和功能的“生态化”。我国生态城市结构生态化应从实体结构生态化开始,从生态分区规划、生态单元建设规划和生态安全空间格局3个层次进行探讨。生态城市功能生态化则指生态产业、生态经济、生态社会等八大类功能全面生态化。

As far as the relation between urbanstructures and urban functions are concerned, thecore purpose of ecocity planning is to achieve thegoal of ecologicalization of urban structures andfunctions.The ecologicalization of the structure ofthe ecocity in China should start from theecologicalization of solid structures and should bediscussed from three aspects of the planning ofecological division,planning for construction of eco-logical units and spatial arrangement of ecologicalsafety,etc.Wcologicalization of the ecocity functionrefers to the overall ecologicalization of eight cat-egories such as eco-industry,eco-economy andeco-society,etc.
