Popularization of first aid knowledge to the general public in small towns

目的对公众开展急救知识调查、培训,以探索小城市公众急救知识普及性培训的方法.方法 2000年1～3月及2004年1～3月采取随机-整群抽样方法分别对不同人群中的3 475人、3 612人进行公众急救意识与知识调查.共计完成市民急救知识培训21 375人次,并对2 318人培训前后进行调查.同时记录市民参与院前急救的情况.结果公众急救意识与知识总合格率第一次调查为25.34%,第二次调查为38.46%,第二次调查比第一次调查有明显提高.92.11%接受培训人员能够基本掌握初级现场急救知识,公众参与院前急救有所提高.结论在小城市,以急救中心为主开展公众急救知识普及性培训,效果明显,切实可行.

Objective To study the popularization methods of first aid knowledge to the general public through survey and training.Methods The first aid knowledge was surveyed in the different population group of 3 475 and 3 612 with the methods of random -cluster sampling from January to March in 2000 and 2004. The popularization of first aid knowledge was finished in 21 375 persons and followed up in 2 318 persons. Results The eligible rate of awareness and knowledge about first aid in the public was 25.34% in the first survey and 38.46% in the second. The improvement was significant. In the persons who were trained, 92.11% could grasp the on-site aid knowledge. The number of people involved in pre-hospital care was increased.Conclusion It is feasible to educate first aid knowledge to the public through the Emergency Center in small towns.
