为使清代书院在培养科举人才方面发挥更大的作用,清代书院通过制定和完善章程,对山长选聘、生徒甄别和经费资助等书院活动进行严格的规范,使其能满足书院培养科举人才的教育目标。因此,章程既是清代书院科举化的重要表现,也是书院实现科举化的重要保证。
