神农是稻作民族的农神,湖南是稻作文化的发源地,湖南的远古文化就是神农文化。

Shennong was the god of the agriculture of the peoples growing rice,and Hunan Province was the birthplace of the rice-planting culture. The cultue of Hunan Province might be Shennong culture in remote antiquity.
