英语写作能力的认知研究

STUDIES ON THE COGNITION OF ENGLISH WRITING ABILITY

知识是构成写作能力的基本要素,写作能力的形成是学习者主动获取和运用陈述性知识、程序性知识和策略性知识的结果,是学习者运用这些知识成功地解决写作问题的认知过程,因此,建构学习者的知识体系是提高英语写作能力的有效途径。

With the use of learning theories of modern psychology, this paper aims to make some researches into the nature of English writing ability. Based on such studies and analysis, it discusses a new cognitive view on writing ability:The acquired knowledge is the essential element of writing ability. The successful development of this ability is the learning outcome of learners' active acquisition of declarative, procedural as well as strategic knowledge and learners finally acquire writing ability by using different kinds of knowledge through their successful solution to the problems in the process of writing activities. Therefore, the author argues that the effective way to improve learners' writing ability is to construct knowledge system in their mind.
