宽带可调谐掺Yb^(3+)光纤环形腔激光器 被引量:2

A Widely Tunable Yb^(3+)-Doped Fiber Ring Laser

摘要 讨论了利用腔内偏振控制器(PC)在掺Yb3+光纤激光器中实现连续可调谐激光输出的机理,采用976nm半导体激光器(LD)作为抽运源,高掺杂浓度掺Yb3+光纤作为增益介质,调整腔内PC,得到连续调谐宽度达20nm(1030~1050nm)、线宽小于0.2nm的输出光脉冲,激光阈值为40mW。在输入功率为110mW、输出耦合比为90∶10时,最大输出功率为6.5mW,斜率效率为10%。与其他结构光纤激光器相比,这种全光纤结构具有更高的效率和更好的稳定性,且在整个调谐宽度范围内,激光输出功率具有很好的平坦度。 Theory on the use of polarization controller(PC) in the Yb 3+-doped fiber ring laser generating continuous tunable pulses was presented.976 nm LD is used as the pump source and the high concentration Yb 3+-doped fiber is adopted as gain medium.Adjusting the PC,widely tunable ranges of 20 nm from 1 030 nm to 1 050 nm are obtained.The spectral line-width of the pulse is less than 0.2 nm.The threshold power of our laser is 40 mW and the maximum output power is 6.5 mW as the input power is 110 mW and output coupler ratio is 90∶10.The slope efficiency is 10%.Compared with the other fiber laser structure,our all-fiber structure has higher efficiency and better stability.The laser also has very stable and flat output during the whole tuning range.
