Insisting on the advancement of the Party is the intrinsic embodiment of Marxist Party. This paper deals mainly with scientific exposition of advancement in meaning by traditional Marxist writer. It points out the Chinese Communist Party has insisted on exploring advancement theory during the struggle of more than 80 years according to the fundamental Marxist Theory to give a new scientific meaning to advancement, which provides Chinese Communist Party strong theoretical guidelines in advanced character and made it bright age characteristics.
