直肠癌术后复发手术与非手术治疗的对照研究

Surgical versus non-surgical treatment of recurrent rectal cancer

目的:针对直肠癌根治术后复发病例,研究手术与非手术治疗的疗效。方法:642例直肠癌根治手术中,选取其中术后复发的81例进行治疗情况的对照分析研究。结果:两组病例无显著性差异。结论:对直肠癌根治术后复发患者再次手术治疗,与非手术治疗相比,未必能显著提高患者生存率。

Objective To study the outcome of surgical versus non-surgical treatment of recurrent disease following an initial resection of a potentially curable rectal cancer. Methods Retrospective review of 642 patients were operated upon with curative intent. 81 patients developed recurrences. Results There was no statistical difference between two groups. Conclusion Further surgery for seemingly localized recurrence following initial curative surgery may not result in appreciable improvement in overall survival compared to non-surgical management of advanced recurrent rectal cancer.
