敦煌变文“一”字的通假与变调的序列

The Interchangeability and Orders of the Tone Sandhi in the Dunhuang Narrative L iterature

敦煌变文中有一种特殊通假,即用“以”、“亦”、“意”等字替代“一”字,这种异乎寻常的通假,表明了一种特殊的语音变化,而这种变化又与语法功能有着一定的联系。通过与《中原音韵》声调和现代汉语北京话变调的比较,我们可以解决“一”字变调的来源问题,同时在变调的序列里为这种通假找到一个位置。现代汉语中“一”字的变调不同于敦煌变文中所表现的变调,但其间的传承关系还可以考见。

There exists a kind of extraordinary interchang eability in the Dunhuang narrative literature, indicating a kind of special phon etic transformation which has certain relation with the grammar function. We can solve the question of the source of the tone sandhi on the character “one” th rough the comparison with the tones of Rhyme and Rhythm of the Central Plains and the interchangeability in modern Pekingese, and find a position for this kind of interchangeability in the orders of tone sandhi. The interchangeability of the character “one” in modern Chinese is different from that expressed in t he Dunhuang narrative literature, but the relation of inheritance between them s till can be observed.
