Development and Outlook of Orienteering in China

通过对中国定向运动发展历程的回顾和发展现状的分析,探讨中国定向运动发展中急待解决的问题和未来的发展前景。中国定向运动的发展基本上以自我探索和自我发展为主线。在这个过程中,定向运动作为一项体育运动并没有得到中国体育界的有力支持,其发展更多的是一些定向爱好者努力的结果。科学化和规范化进程的缺失制约着中国定向运动的发展,中国定向运动目前仍处在水平相对不高的发展阶段。近年来的一系列事件标志着中国定向运动已开始进入快速发展前期,预示着中国定向开始走上科学化、高水平发展的道路,制约中国定向运动发展的各种因素将逐步得到克服,中国定向运动即将进入快速发展期。

This paper probes into problems needed to be solved urgently and outlook of orienteering de- velopment in China, by reviewing its history and analyzing the present situation. Orienteering devel- opment in China is mostly achieved by self-exploration and self-development. In this proves, orien- teering as a sports programmer hasn’t received vigorous support from the sporting world in China, and its development mostly contribute to the endeavor of amateur. The lack of scientific- oriented and standardized progress restrict its development, and it still stays the low level of development. These years a series of instances signify that it has stepped into fast- developing stage and indicate it has walked on the road of scientific-orientation and high-leveled development. These factors that re- strict the development of orienteering has been solved step by step and it will enter a period of past de- velopment.
