The Chinese revolution and socialist construction led by the CPC is an important component part of the international communist movement. The CPC's conception of the center of this movement changed with its own growth over the decades: At first it took the Communist International as the center, then “the Soviet Communist Party as the center” and finally “there was no center at all”. This paper made a historical investigation of the evolution of the CPC's conception of the center of the international communist movement and delved into the background and impact of each change.
