In the times of the knowledge-based economy, various knowledge are growing rapidly. As the carrier of spreading and issuing the sci-tech achievements, the competition among the sci-tech periodicals is very drastic. How to strive for the existence and development on such a background and how to increase the academic reputation of the sci-tech periodicals is the problem that is taken into the consideration by each editorial board. This paper puts forward some suggestions on increasing the academic reputation of the sci-tech periodicals from the purpose of running the periodical, the guiding thought, the quality of the contributions, and the service consciousness of the personnel, etc.
