摘要
以种子乳液聚合法制备出具有空心结构的交联型乳胶粒,以低分子量的PS为种子,以MMA和DVB为壳单体对种子乳粒在高温下溶胀,由于种子聚合物和壳层聚合物之间相容性的不同,导致在壳层聚合时两者之间发生相分离,并在粒子内部产生空心结构。通过研究发现,种子聚合物的分子量、混合单体中DVB含量对粒子成孔有影响,探讨了空心乳胶粒的成孔机理。
The highly cross-linked solid and hollow polymer particles which are poly(methyl methacrylate-co-divinylbenzene) were prepared by means of a seeded emulsion polymerization. PS with low molecular weight(MW) is prepared as the seed emulsion, and then highly swollen with monomer of MMA and DVB at high temperature. Due to the incompatibility between core and shell polymer, phase separation occurred during polymerization which lead to the formation of hollow structure. Experiments reveale that, the morphology of polymer particles depends on the composition of MMA and DVB. The molecular weight(MW) of the seed have effect on the formation of the hollow particles. There is a critical MW of the seed to obtain the hollow polymer particles. The formation mechanism of the hollow polymer particles was studied.
