摘要
以乳液插层聚合法合成苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯/蒙脱土纳米复合材料。X射线衍射结果表明,聚合物能够有效地插层到经过有机化处理的蒙脱土层间,且蒙脱土片层可以均匀地分散在苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯共聚物中。TGA分析表明,苯乙烯-丙烯酸丁酯/有机蒙脱土纳米复合材料的热稳定性有所提高。锥形量热仪测试和研究表明,复合材料的燃烧性能,包括热释放速率和质量损失,在蒙脱土含量为2%时,效果最好。
Nanocomposite of styrene and butyl-acrylate copolymer (PSA)/organic-montmorillonite was synthesized by emulsion copolymerization. XRD results show that molecular chains of PSA are intercalated into the galleries of MMT, and the pallets of MMT are well dispersed in the PSA. TGA results indicate that thermal stability of composites is enhanced. The cone calorimeter results show that the flame retardancy of composites is improved significantly with addition of OMMT at 2%.
