Introduction and Cultivation Test of Silage Maize in Feng Du

青贮玉米引种栽培试验结果表明:青贮玉米1号、青贮玉米2号和墨西哥饲用玉米品种在试验区种植适应性好,鲜草产量为127725.0kg/hm2、131625.0kg/hm2和180465.0kg/hm2,分别比当地普通玉米增产59.8%、64.6%和125.7%,青贮后品质优良,肉牛喜食,有很重要的推广利用价值。

The experiment results showed that the introduced silage maize cultivars (silage maize No.1,silagemaize No.2 and Euchlaena mexicane schrad) appeared good adaptation in experiment area.The fresh yield was 127 725.0kg/hm2 for silage maize No.1,131 625.0 kg/hm2 for silage maize No.2 and 180 465.0 kg/hm2 for Euchlaena mexicaneschrad,respectively.Compared to local common maize cultivars,the fresh yield of silage maizeNo1,No.2 and EuchlaenaMexican Schrad increased by59.8%,64.6% and 125.7%, respectively.It was concluded that these three cultivars could beextended intopractice based on their fine quality,high yield and good eatingfor beefcattle.
