There is the initiative and passivity of criminal investigation during the course of enforcing the law. The common forms of criminal investigation include secret type and public type, compulsion and voluntariness, initiative and passivity. In order to grasp the essence of criminal investigation, we should classify to approach the subject in its entirety.
