The conventional gas logging interpretation chart exists a cert ain difficulty in the identification of the low resistivity pay zones. Taking ga s logging and oil testing data of drilled wells from Cai X wellblock as the main basis, the paper analyzed and summarized the showing characteristics of low res istivity pay zones in this area on the conventional gas logging interpretation c hart, thus putting forward a new idea for the identification of the on-site low -resistivity pay zones. Through spreading and applying, it has a certain practic al value for the identification of the on-site low-resistivity pay zones.
