不同首乌提取液对老年大鼠心、肝、脑自由基代谢及脑内MAO—B的影响

EFFECT OF DIFFERENT EXTRACT OF POLYGONUM MULTIFLORUM THUNB ON FREE RADICAL METABOLISM OF TISSUES (HEART, LIVER. BRAIN) AND MONOAMINE OXIDASE -B OF BRAIN IN AGED RATS

本实验观察了不同首乌提取液(醇提液或水提液)对老年大鼠心、肝、脑的SOD、LPO及脑内MAO-B的变化。结果表明两种不同的首乌提取液均能不同程度地提高组织SOD含量,降低LPO含量;首乌水提液还能降低脑内MAO-B活性。提示不同首乌提取液可通过影响体内的防御酶-SOD,增强其清除超氧自由基的能力;或可通过抑制老年大鼠脑组织中MA0-B活性以延缓衰老。

The levels of SOD.LPO in heart,Liver,brain and MAO - B of brain tissuse were observed respectively to investigate the mechanism of different extraction of Polygonum multiflorm Thunb in delaying aging. The results showed that the SOD of the aged rats in heart, Liver and brain were apparently Lower than those of the young rats.while LPO levels was obviously higher than those of the young rats. After the ad-minstration of different exrtaction (alcohol extract anel aqueous extract), the SOD Levels could be increased markedly in various degrees in different tissues of aged rats,while the LPO levels could be decreased obviously in different tissues. The activity of MAO - B in the brain of the aged rats was obviously higher than that of the young rats. After the administration of aqueous extract, the activity of MAO -B of brain could be reduced apparently. It suggests that different extraction might be one of the possible mechanism in delaying aging by inhibiting the free radical reaction and the activity of MAO B brain.
