本文首先介绍了科学数据库通用元数据管理工具中的核心技术:XML与元数据表示,XMLSchema与元数据建模,XSL与元数据显示,LDAP与元数据检索。然后讨论了该系统的处理流程和优点。本系统是实现科学数据库通用数据平台和跨库访问的基础。
The General Metadata Management Tool of Scientific Database is the basis for implementing general data platform and accessing data through different databases in Scientific Database. This paper first gives a full description of core technologies used in the General Metadata Management Tool of Scientific Database which include XML and metadata representation, XML Schema and metadata modeling, XSL and metadata showing, LDAP and metadata query. Then authors discuss the processing steps and advantages of this tool.
