Thoracolumbar Vertebrae Injuries Complicated with Traumatic Asphyxia: A Report of 8 Cases

报告５２９例胸腰段脊柱损伤中８例合并创伤性窒息患者，占胸腰段脊柱损伤的１．５１％，这两种不同类别的损伤均由来自肩背部的外载荷致躯干极度屈曲所致。合并创伤性窒息的胸腰段脊柱损伤，主要是Ｃｈａｎｃｅ骨折和骨折脱位。

Eight cases of traumatic asphyxia (1.51%) in 529 cases of thoracolumbar vertebrae injuries are reported in the article. The two different kinds of injuries are caused by the trunk extreme flexion from external load on the shoulder and back. The injury of thoracolumbar vertebrae complicated with traumatic asphyxia mainly is Chance's fracture and fracture dislocation. (Original article on page 341)
