Two Arguments in The Manuscript of the History of Qing Dynasty (Geography Part)

由于《清史稿》成书于众人之手,谬误甚多,该书卷六十八之“地理”十五“湖南”部分所记乾州、凤凰、永绥三厅升直隶厅和永绥厅设立之时间都存在谬误之处,本文对其进行了考订和辨正。

Lots of mistakes can be seen in the Manuscript of the History of Qing Dynasty because many hands wrote it.In 'Hunan Section' of its 'Geography Part',the time when the three 'Tings' of Qianzhou,Fenghuang and Yongsui were promoted to 'directly subordinating Tings' and the time when 'Yongsui Ting' was founded are open to question.This paper tries to carry on textual research on them.
