By comparing differences with poetry on style and genre this article points out that lyric verse is much more humorous and Ma Zhiyuan's lyric verse, through comparison, hyperbole, irony and mutation of language rhythm, forms humor. which is profoundly meaningful to him and his verse. Combining humor on lyric verse is not only the show of Ma Zhiyuan's life vitality, under the special circumstance of Yuan Dynasty, but also the display of his individual character, and at the same time ,it gives people an aesthetic feeling.
