This paper is to elaborate the importance and necessity of applying knowledge management (KM) to intensifying police enforcement with science and technology (IPEST). The paper also discusses the possible users, the application of KM in IPEST, the main contents and the primary methods of KM in IPEST. A typical model of KM in IPEST is given to elucidate three layers of KM platform in IPEST. Finally, the prospective future of applying KM to IPEST is described.
