关于利用网络促进英语习得的思考与建议

Reflections on the Positive Effect of Internet Resources on ESL Acquisition

网络英语和网络英语教学在我国外语界越来越受到重视。从理论上说,两者确实对学习者英语习得有着不可估量的促进作用。然而,通过对本校部分英语专业学生的问卷调查和访谈,经过对数据的统计分析,发现学生对网络英语的利用率极低,教师利用多媒体和网络技术进行英语教学的水平还在起步阶段停滞不前,作者对这种状况进行了分析和思考,提出了现阶段应该解决的问题及相关建议。

Great importance has been increasingly attached to English and English-teaching on the Internet. Theoretically, they are able to facilitate the process of learners'English acquisition. However, results of the questionnaire and talk with some junior students majoring in English show that students spend more time on the Internet for entertainment than for English-learning. Meanwhile, teachers also have difficulty in using multimedia and network technology. On the basis of analysis and reflection, I point out the problems at present and make some suggestions as well.
