On the Estimation of the Slave Population

汉武帝发动大规模的告缗运动，没入了大批奴婢。对这批奴婢人口数量作较接近其真实数量之估计，对于研究西汉人口有一定意义，同时也有助于对西汉社会相关问题的研究。

Emperor Han-wu took a great measure named 'Gao-Min' against the tax dodgers and confiscated a large number of slaves. The estimation of slave population is perhaps helpful for us to study the population of the West Han dynasty.
