Starting with the background of the origination of the compact spinning process,comprehensive introduction is done to the philosophy of the three typical air-streammed compact spinning processes as well as the advantages and the disadvantages thereof.The paper concludes itself with the idea that enterprising development be done to the allied accessories such as rings plus travellers,cots and aprons for the development and the generalization of the compact spinning.
