摘要
故宫午门展厅的设计和建设是在文物建筑中增添现代化博览功能的特殊项目。设计在不改变文物古建风貌、结构受力体系以及对结构不产生损伤的同时,满足了展厅的各种功能要求,而且使展品与文物古建二者相得益彰。
The design and construction for exhibition hall in the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City is a special project adding modern fair function into cultural building relics. On the premises of keeping the old building's appearance, structural works system and original structure, it is required not only to meet all kinds of exhibitory function, but also bring out the best in both of exhibits and old building.
