中西医结合治疗慢性肾功能衰竭与残余肾功能好转

Reservation of residual renal function in the elderly chronic renal failure patients treated with Western and Traditional Chinese drugs

中西医结合治疗老年前期和老年人慢性肾功能衰竭，采用中药大黄牡蛎公英汤和必需氨基酸制剂治疗。治疗组２７例，对照组２３例。结果：治疗组肾功能好转者１２例，肾功能平稳者５例，无效１０例；对照组无一例好转。

Abstract Reservation of residual renal function is one of the most important goals in treatment of predialysis patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). To examine the efficacy of nondialytic therapy, 50 cases of elderly CRF patients were investigated. They were divided into two groups,1.treated groug (n=27): treated with essential amino-acid and decoction of Rhizome Rhei,Herba Taraxaci and Concha Ostreae for 12-80 months;2. control group (n=23): without the treatment given in group Ⅰ. Results: The residual renal function was improved (n=12) or kept stable (n=5) in patients of group Ⅰ. However, none of the patients of group Ⅱwere found with improved or stable renal function. The results show that combined therapy with Western and Traditional Chinese drugs reported here is probably effective for reservation of residual renal function in elderly CRF patients.
