雪下红及千年不烂心植物考证

Herbologicai Study of “Xuexiahong” and “Qiannianbulanxin”

本文对《花镜》中的雪下红及《植物名实图考》中的千年不烂心考证结果:雪下红应当是现名千年不烂心的茄属植物Solanum cathayanum,而图考中的千年不烂心当系同属植物,现名海桐叶白英S.pittosporifolium。

This paper reports the herbological studies of 'Xuexiahong' in the Chinese book'Flower Mirror' and 'Qiannianbulanxin' in 'An Illustrated Book of Plants' . It is confirmed thatthe original plant of 'Xuexiahong' shall be Solanum cathayanum C. Y. Wu et S.C. Huang which ispresently called 'Qiannianbulanxin' . However, the original plant of 'Qiannianbulanxin' shall be S. pittosporifolium Hemsl. which is presently called 'Haitongyebaiying' .
