An Experimental Study on the KidneyTonifying and Yang-Invigorating Effect of DongFang Shen Cao Granule

对东方神草冲剂的补肾壮阳作用进行药效学实验研究。结果表明东方神草能促进雄性动物附性器官的发育和提高体内的雄激素水平，防止肾阳虚模型动物的肾上腺、附性器官、胸腺和脾脏萎缩。

An experimental study on the kidneytonifying and yanginvigorating effect ofDong Fang Shen cao (DFSC) granule in rats and in mice was carried out. The result showedthat DFSC granule significantly promoted the development of accessory sexual organ and in-creased the serum level of androgenic hormones in male animals. Furthermore, it can also pre-vent the atrophy of adrenal gland, accessory sexual organ, thymus gland and spleen in the ani-mal model with kidney-yang deficiency.
