Role of TsAGI in Development of Combat Aircraft

俄罗斯中央航空流体动力研究院(ЦАГИ)是俄罗斯最大的航空科学研究中心,也是世界最大的航空科学研究中心之一.1994年俄罗斯政府把国防工业11家大的研究机构列为国家级研究院,ЦАГИ名列其中.ЦАГИ从事与航空技术、火箭技术和航天技术有关的基础研究与应用研究.在航空领域,ЦАГИ历来负责制订国家的航空技术发展规划。

TsAGI is responsible for proposing aerodynamic configurations, solving technical difficulties in the development of aircraft and , on behalf of the Government, examines the design concepts made by all design bureaus, as well as comes to a conclusion about the probability and safety of the first test flight. TsAGI set up a thermo-strength laboratory for the development of MiG-25 fighter, selected a canard aerodynamic configuration for T-4 bomber, and adopted a remote control and stabilization augmentation system with subsonic static unstability for Su-27 fighter.
