由于俄国的经济不景气,目前俄国民航运输业继续呈下滑趋势,但下降的速度已经减缓。1995年1月俄罗斯运输部发布的航空运输状况年度报告证实了上述情况。俄罗斯民航现状1994年俄国各航空公司运送旅客不足3300万人次,比不景气的1993年又下降了18％。在苏联解体前,苏联民航年运送旅客约1.4亿人次,到1991年客运量锐减。
Russian air transport has continued a steady downward tendency since 1991, but the 1994 traffic decline seems modest by comparison, because there was better performance on international routes. Russian air transport industry remains in difficulties, but it could be getting over the worst. Department of Air Transport under Russian Ministry of Transport adopts measures to recover civil aviation, such as integration of airlines, increasing of investment and technical re-equipping of fleet, etc . Russian Ministry of Transport forecasts that the volume of air traffic may at last begin to recover in 1995 .
