Preliminary exploration for Califonia Bearing Ratio test

本文阐述了承载比（ＣＢＲ）试验的重要性和广泛性，以３种土类的试验，介绍了室内试验的方法和试验结果的比较；提出了运用设计ＣＢＲ值设计柔性路面厚度和确定设计ＣＢＲ值的试验方法。说明了荷载强度与贯入量之间是双曲线变化的关系．

The importance and wide use of the California Bearing Ratio(CBR)test are explained in this paper. On the basis of three soil samples test the methods of indoor test and comparison of the test results are introduced. Besides,using CBR value to design the thickness of soft road surface and test methods to define CBR value are described. The hyperbola rolationship between bearing strength and quantity of penetration is also explained.
