Growing in the medium containning 0. 1mol KCl for 2～3 weeks the cells ofthe blue-green algal trichome transfomed into spheroplasts which were not resistant to hypotonic condition. In the liouid medium containning CaCl2 or Bovine serum albumin the spheroplasts were regenerated in 2～4 days at a high frequency.
