1952年5月,美国“慧星”客机投入航线服务,接着美国的波音707又于1954年首次飞行,从而开始了民航的喷气时代。此后,为了提高民航的经济性、安全性、舒适性和环境相容性,通过不断的技术发展,民用航空涡轮发动机在耗油率、可靠性、寿命、噪声和排气污染等方面取得了巨大进步。
The writer of this article is an expert in aviation industry of China.On the basis of his experience,he has divided into two parts—trunk line and feeder line—to comprehensively introduce the developing history of turbine engines used in civil aviation,the main performance targets and technical characteristics of different types of engines being largely used at pre- sent,as well as the trend of development in the future for the engine technology.
