摘要
建议修建四川铁路东通道,并应先建川湘线。该线全长644km,工程较小,可很快形成我国西北至东南主干线。其优点是:开辟四川至广西出海口的直达通道;增加重庆铁路枢纽通过能力,促进重庆经济发展;开发川、湘、鄂结合部广大贫困区,促进长江上游产业带的形成;支持三峡工程,启动和推动长江上游水运的发展。
The paper suggested to build the east railway access of Sichuan, and the Chuanqian Line as the top priority. The scope of it is small.Thus, it can soon become the main line linking northwest and southeast of China.The advantages of this line are asfollows:(i) opening the direct corridor from Sichuan to the river mouth of Guangxi;(ii) increasing handling capacity of the Chongqing railway terminal,so as to promote the economic development of Chongqing;(iii)Developing the poor bordering areas of Sichuan, Hunan, and Hubei provinces, and promoting the formation of the.industrial belt in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River; and (iv) supporting the project of the Three Gorges, and initiating and promoting the development of water transport in. the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
