Litomastix heliothis Liao. is an important parasites of cotton bollworm(Heliothis armigera(Hubner)).The wasp belongs to Encyrtidae, Litomastix. Morphology ofthe larvae、pupa、male and female wasps are described. The life cycle and behavior werealso observed and described.The wasps carry on polyembryonic reproduction. Sexed chickshows that all wasps in one host are essentially same sex(all males or all females).The sexratio in the population is 1 :1.7.
