摘要
首次记述2种中国园蛛——类高居金蛛Argiope aetheroides Yin et al., 1989和双隆园蛛Araneus prominens Yin et al., 1989的雄蛛。
The present paper newly describes two male spiders of the family Araneidae. All specimens were collected from Mt. Huping (alt. 1400mm,29°34'N, 110°22'E,June 25-July 7,1992,X. J. Peng and L. P. Xie),Shimen County, Hunan Province, and are deposited in Hunan Biology Research Institute. Measurements are in millimeters.Argiope aetheroides Yin et al. ,1989 figs. 1~3( )Total length 4. 30 - 6. 00. A specimen of 6. 00 measured:Carapace 2. 70 long, 3. 00 wide; Abdomen 3. 30 long,3. 00 wide. Leg formula 1,2,4,3(same as in female). This species resembles Argiope aethera (Walckenaer,1841)(Levi,1983:315,figs. 308,309)in the body form of female. But the male palpal organ of the former are quite different from that of the latter. 1. Embolus without kink on anterior margin; Distal part slender, short and crook-shaped ;No posteerior pendent. 2. Median apophysis stouter.Araneus prominens Yin et al. ,1989 figs. 4-6( )Total length 8. 30. Carapace 4. 10 long, 3. 50 wide; Abdomen 4. 30 long, 3. 79 wide. Leg formula 2,1,4,3(female:l,2,4,3).Both male and female of this species are similar to those of Araneus bituberculata (Walckenaer,1802)(Dahl, 1931: Ⅳ -61). But the following structures of the former's male palpal organ can be used to differ this two species from each other:1. Tegulum huge. 2. In mesal view, median apophysis, conducter and embolus locate in the same axle which runs from the middle to terminal end. 3. Medial apophysis squat, with a terminal bifid apophysis (shone - shaped). 4. Conducter large, anterior part membraneaous, sclerotized in posterior part and base. 5. Embolus wide and flat, with a dagger-shaped apical end.
