通过对生产实践中设备检修的分析，提出了大口径闸阀在半水煤气等介质中，应选用明杆闸阀的观点和不停车检修的可能性。

Though equipment maintenence practice, the author puts forward the view, that large-diameter gate valve with outside screw should be selected for use in the mediums of semiwater gas or transformed gas,and the possibility of on-line mainteneme.
