The paper describe mainly the research and application of base pit supporting scheme on the three buildings in NanJing and Wuxi citie. During operation,the avallable design were selected and used in the engineerings in accordance with the different geotechnical engineering geological conditions and the physical-dynamic indexes of geotechnical layers.The excavation and measurement in situ show that the design programme are safe, reliable and effective for the deep base pits with a depth over 10 m. Because of the good tensile strength and small practical error,new technology such as dual rock boltin method have been applied in the operation in Wuxi city,given a good effectiveness. Generally,the selected supporting scheme of deep base Pits are characteristic of little migration error and subsidence, water percolation and fissure as well as good and safe operation without affecting surrounding buildings.
